The petitioners have approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the petitioners in terms of Order dated 08.04.2021 at Annexure - 3 and further to direct the respondents to pay the component granted therein alongwith interest till payment of the remaining amount of compensation.

Shri. Patil, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the aforesaid prayer is not yet rejected by the respondents and that the petitioners had filed representations before the respondents, which are still pending. Shri Patil, learned counsel, relies upon the Order dated 08.04.2021, which is at record page No.40 (Annexure-3), which shows that the funding assistance for voluntary village relocation, which was earlier at the rate of Rs.10 lakh per family, is now enhanced to Rs.15 lakh per family. 4.
In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.3 - Deputy Conservator of Forests, to consider the present writ petition as a
115 WP-5244-2025 representation on behalf of the petitioners seeking the reliefs prayed for therein and to decide the same in accordance with law, and more specifically, by taking into consideration the Office Order dated 08.04.2021, which is at record page No.40 (Annexure-3). The said representation shall be decided within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. The decision taken thereon shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two weeks thereafter.
