The grievance of the petitioner is that the post of Sarpanch of Village Bhera, Tahsil Malegaon, District Washim has not been reserved for the Scheduled Caste category since the year 1995. The petitioner has already approached the respondent authorities by raising the aforesaid grievance. Mr. Kadu, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the respondents have not yet decided the said representation. 3.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent Nos.1 and 2 to treat the present writ petition as a representation for the reliefs claimed therein and to decide the same in accordance with law within a stipulated period of eight weeks from the date of production of this order.

The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of such decision. 5.
