In the present case, without issuing show cause notice and without granting any opportunity to make submission by the petitioners, registration as contractor came to be cancelled by the respondent- Municipal Corporation. 2.

The above referred fact of non-issuance of show cause notice before cancellation of registration, is not disputed by the respondents. Therefore without going into the merits of the matter, we are of the opinion that the petition can be allowed by quashing and setting aside the impugned order dated 28.08.2025, which is admittedly in violation of principles of natural justice.

Accoridngly, the Writ Petition is allowed. The order

The respondent- Corporation is free to take necessary action, if the Corporation so desires. However, the same shall be, after following due process of law.
