In the present petition, the prayer made by the petitioners is to direct the respondent-State to constitute the Committee as per the Bhudan Board Act.

In the reply filed by respondent No.3, it is stated that the Committee of respondent No.1 was in force till 29.05.2023. Respondent No.3, by letter dated 09.06.2023, submitted the names of the Committee members to the respondent-State. It is thus evident that since 09.06.2023, the matter is pending at the level of the State Government for constitution of the Committee as per the Bhudan Board Act. 4.

Considering the above-referred statement made by respondent No.3 on affidavit, we are of the opinion that the petition can be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-State to take a decision as regards the constitution of the Committee as per the Bhudan Board Act within a stipulated period.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-State to take a decision as regards the constitution of the Committee as per the Bhudan Board Act within a period of three months from the date of production of this order.
