The petitioner has challenged the order passed by the Appellate Tribunal - Collector Nagpur in proceedings under Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007 in which the petitioners application for condonation of delay came to be rejected. The Sub Divisional Officer Nagpur had earlier passed the order dated 10.07.2019 thereby directing the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs. 10,000/- per month to respondent no. 1 who is mother of the petitioner.

In order to show his bona-fides, the petitioner is directed to deposit a part of the amountof arrears that is Rs. 50,000/- in this Court within one week from today.
