The petitioners seek challenge to the impugned order dated 11th February, 2025, passed by the respondent - Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Gondia, thereby rejecting the proposal for grant of approval to the appointment of petitioner No.3 on the post of Librarian.

The contention of the petitioners is that petitioner No.1 - Trust runs petitioner No.2 - School. Petitioner No.3 was appointed on the post of Librarian by petitioner Nos.1 and 2 vide appointment order dated 27th December, 2024. The proposal for grant of approval of the said appointment was submitted to the respondent - Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Gondia on 13th January 2025. However, the proposal was rejected by the respondent - Education Officer

909.WP.5841.2025.odt 2/2 solely on the ground that the advertisement was defective, as the educational qualification was not mentioned as per the MEPS Rules.

Mr. Karode, learned counsel for the petitioners, points out that the advertisement was issued on 27th November, 2024, and the corrigendum was also published on 29th November, 2024, thereby mentioning the educational qualification for the post of Librarian as per the MEPS Rules. 5.

In view of the above, issue notice to the respondent, returnable on 15th October, 2025.
