The prayer is to issue direction to Respondent No.3 to appoint the petitioner on a suitable post at Zilla Parishad, Gadchiroli on compassionate grounds.

Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 have filed a reply, stating therein in Para 6 that the petitioner's name has been duly included in the compassionate waiting list published on 28.04.2026. The reply tendered by Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 across the bar is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the purpose of filing the petition stands served in terms of the reply so filed by the respondents.
