It appears that the appropriate remedy is to approach the Appellate Authority under Chapter V of the Finance Act, 1994. 3.

The petitioner may file appeal within four weeks from today. Appeals filed thereafter shall be entertained, if filed, within Inserted paragraph 3 as per Hon'ble Court's order dated 06.02.2026 limitation. In that event, time spent before this Court shall be excluded as provided under Section 14 of the Limitation Act, 1963. 4.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Appellate Authority. (JUDGE) (JUDGE) Corrected order.
