Heard Mr. A.P. Raghute, learned Advocate for the petitioners, Mr. N.P. Lambat, learned Advocate for respondent No.4 and Mr. P.N. Atkar, Advocate for Respondent Nos.5 and 6 as well as learned AGP for Respondent Nos.1 to 3-State.

By the present petition, the petitioners put forth prayer clause 'i' to 'iv', as under.

"(i) To direct the respondent Nos.5 and 6 to pay arrears of difference of salary as per recommendation of 6th pay commission from 01.01.2006 till 31.12.2025 with interest @ 12% p.a. as calculated to all petitioners as per statements thereof placed on record which is at Annexure P-10 to the petition;

WP 6072 of 2025.odt (ii) To direct the respondent Nos.5 and 6 to pay arrears of difference of salary as per recommendation of 7th pay commission from 01.01.2016 till date with interest @ 12% p.a. as calculated by petitioners and statements thereof placed on record which is at Annexure P-10 to the petition;

(iii) To direct the respondent Nos.5 and 6 to pay the arrears of salary from 01.08.2018 till their date of retirement till date with interest @12% p.a. to all petitioners;

(iv) To direct the respondent Nos.5 and 6 to pay the Dearness Allowance @ 107% till their date of retirement with interest @ 12% p.a. to all petitioners which is at Annexure P-9 to the petition;"

Learned Advocate appearing for respondent Nos.5 and 6 submitted that he had appeared in similar petition bearing Writ Petition No.1321 of 2026 (Raju Madhukarrao Javulkar and Another Vs. State of Maharashtra and Others), wherein this Court had directed respondent No.5 Management and respondent No.6 College to treat the writ petition as a representation submitted by the petitioner for grant of aforesaid relief and as such, this Court had directed the respondent Management and College to decide the said representation within a period of eight weeks. Hence, prayed for disposal of the present petition in the above terms.

Considering the claim of the petitioners, we are of the view that this petition filed by the petitioners be treated as a representation with respondent Nos.5 and 6, which

Respondent Nos.5 and 6 are further directed to decide the said representation in accordance with law as early as possible within a period of eights weeks. 6.

The petitioner undertakes to communicate this order to respondent Nos.5 and 6, immediately.

In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of.
