Heard Mr. N. D. Jambhule, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

Mr. V. V. Joshi, learned counsel waives service of notice on behalf of respondent no.1 3.

Learned A.G.P. waives service of notice on behalf of respondent no.3.

The petitoiner seeks direction to respondent no.3 - Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide her caste claim. Considering the prayer made in the petition, we are of the opinion that notice is not required to be issued to respondent no.2 - College.

The petitioner got admission in respondent no.2 - College through examination conducted by respondent no.1 for 'B.Pharmacy' on a seat reserved for 'Scheduled Tribe', subject to submiting the Caste Validity Certificate

The petitioner has already approached respondent no.3 - Scrutiny Committee for issuance Caste Validity Certificate in October, 2024 i.e. prior to a year, but till date respondent no.3 - Scrutiny Committee has not decided the Caste Claim of the petitioner. The contention is that today is the last date for submitting the Caste Validity Certificate to respondent no.2 - College.

Having considered the submissions and the grounds raised in the petition, we are of the considered opinion that the writ petition can be disposed of by directing respondent no.3 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within four weeks from today in accordance with law.

However, till the caste claim of the petitioner is decided by respondent no. 3 - Scrutiny Committee, respondent nos.1 and 2 shall not cancel the admission of the petitioner on the count of non-submission of the Caste Validity Certificate.

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
