This is an application filed by respondents for modification of order dated 13.11.2025, passed by this Court. 3.
Vide order dated 13.11.2025, this Court has permitted the petitioners to deposit 60% of the amount calculated by respondent authorities and on such deposit, the respondents were directed to restore the electricity connection.

After this order, it was expected that the respondents shall provide link to the petitioners to deposit the amount, as directed by this Court. The link was not provided to the petitioners and after about one month, this application for modification came to be filed. Further, till today, the electricity connection has not been restored despite the order of this Court to restore it forthwith. 5.
Considering the conduct of the respondents, who do not have regard for the orders of this Court and further, on finding that the grounds, as stated in the application for modification of order dated Belkhede, PS
2 919caw2994.2025..doc 13.11.2025 are as meritless, we are not inclined to allow this application. Accordingly, the application is rejected. WRIT PETITION NO. 6881 OF 2025 Heard.

Admittedly, there is no compliance of order dated 13.11.2025 and prima facie, we are of the opinion that the respondents have wilfully committed contempt.

Registry is directed to issue notice to the respondents, under Chapter XXXIV, Part II, Rule 5(b) of the Bombay High Court Appellate Side Rules, 1960, returnable on 06.01.2026. 4.
Mr. Kunte, learned Counsel for respondents to supply the name of the erring officer/s by 22.12.2025, to the Registry to enable the Registry to issue notice.
