On finding that Shri Shrikant Panjabrao Talegaonkar, Additional Executive Engineer, Flying Squad, MSEDCL has committed prima facie contempt for not complying the order dated 13.11.2025, this Court issued contempt notice to Shri Shrikant Panjabrao Talegaonkar under Chapter XXXIV, Part-II, Rule 5(a) of the Bombay High Court Appellate Side Rules, 1960 and in response to the same, Shri Shrikant Panjabrao Talegaonkar has tendered his unconditional apology.

It is submitted that since the application for modification of the order dated 13.11.2025 was pending, the order was not complied with.

Though the justification offered is not acceptable, nd.thawre

2/2 having regard to the date of filing of the application and the time frame within which the order was required to be complied with, we are of the opinion that, since an unconditional apology has been tendered by the officer concerned and the order has already been complied with by purging the contempt, it would not be appropriate to proceed against Shri Shrikant Panjabrao Talegaonkar, Additional Executive Engineer, Flying Squad, MSEDCL. 5.

Accordingly, the apology is accepted and the contempt proceeding is hereby dropped.
