The contention is that the petitioners having been appointed prior to respondent nos. 4 to 6 and having been shown as senior in the three consecutive seniority lists, all of a sudden in the seniority list for a period from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2024 is republished wherein respondent nos. 4 to 5 were shown senior to the petitioners and thereafter, they were promoted as Senior Clerks.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 15.12.2025.

The learned Additional Government Pleader waives service of notice for respondent nos. 1 and 2. RR Jaiswal

In addition to the regular mode of service, the petitioners are permitted to serve the remaining respondents by all other permissible modes.
