Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith. Heard finally with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties. 2.

Learned AGP waives notice for respondent Nos. 1 and 2/State.

The present petition seeks a direction to respondent No. 2, Zilla Parishad, Gondia, to forthwith take a decision on the proposal dated 07.08.2025 and to submit the proposal of petitioner No. 3 to respondent No. 1 for grant of Shalarth I.D.

On 25.03.2025, petitioner No. 3 was appointed, by following due process of law, as a Junior Clerk on probation for a period of three years and after obtaining prior permission of the Education Department. It is the contention of the petitioners that petitioner No. 2 submitted a proposal to respondent No. 2 for grant of approval on 07.08.2025. It is his grievance that no action has been

WP7561.25.odt 3/3 taken on the said proposal, inspite of the fact that a reminder was sent on 14.10.2025 reiterating the request.

In our view, therefore, if a direction is given to respondent No. 2 to decide upon the said proposal submitted by the petitioners on 07.08.2025, that would suffice the purpose and ventilate the grievance of the petitioner. We, therefore, direct respondent No. 2 to decide the proposal submitted by the petitioners on 07.08.2025 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and within three months from the date of this order.
