The contention is that the petitioners are working with the respondent no.3 as Junior Engineer on contract basis. The last order is dated 04.11.2025 continuing their services till 31.12.2025. Further contention is that in wake of the departmental communication issued to the respondent no.3 not to fill-up the vacant posts on contract basis from outsourcing will come in the way for further continuation of petitioners' services post 31.12.2025.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 21.01.2026. 4.

Shri Palshikar, learned AGP waives service of notice for respondent nos.1 and 2.
