Pursuant to our order dated 17.02.2026, where Respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 3 were required to make a statement as to the timeline within which the Sale Deed would be executed and the compensation would be paid to the Petitioners, on instructions from the Deputy Collector (Land Acquisition), Panaji, North Goa statement is made by Ms. Akshata Bhat, learned Additional Government appearing for Respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 3 that the Sale Deed would be executed with regard to property bearing Survey No. 105/0 of village Tuem would be executed in favour of the Governor of Goa through the Collector within a period of three months, within which time an 17th March, 2026

38 WP 76 2026 amount of Rs. 2,75,65,775/- would be paid by the Respondent No. 1 i.e. the Acquiring Department to the account of the Petitioner. The statement is accepted as an undertaking to this Court.

2. In view of this statement, nothing further survives in this petition and hence the same stands disposed of.
