Since the directions are sought against the Disaster Management Authority and the Margao Municipal Council for not carrying out the demolition of the unsafe/dilapidated building situated in the Margao Municipal area, we expect the Disaster Management Authority as well as the Municipal Council to file their affidavits in reply.

2. Mr Parag Rao, who represents the Margao Municipal Council and Ms Maria Correia, learned Additional Government Advocate, who 9th June, 2025

WP 93 of 2025 represents the Disaster Management Authority, are directed to file their affidavit in reply within a period of two weeks. In the meantime, since we are informed that the private respondents have also tendered their affidavits, we expect the Registry to place them on record.

3. The petitioners, if desirous, on receipt of the reply affidavits, are at liberty to file a rejoinder within a period of two weeks thereafter.
