We have heard Mr Gangesh Ramnath Sawant, son of Mr Ramnath Atma Sawant, Power of Attorney Holder, who has approached this Court by raising a challenge to the judgment passed by the Hon'ble Minister for Revenue, Government of Goa, disposing of the appeal filed by Mr Ramnath Atma Sawant under Section 7 of the Goa Regularization of Unauthorised Construction Act, 2016 against the judgment and order dated 12.09.2024 by which the Deputy Collector & SDO, Bicholim has dismissed the objection filed by him and also the order dated 23.09.2024 passed by the Deputy Collector & SDO, Bicholim, which has allowed the regularization application filed by 28th July, 2025

WP 272 of 2025 one Rajashree Kamat, i.e. respondent no.9.

2. On hearing the petitioner, who has marked his appearance in person and on perusal of the petition, the specific plea is raised that the Hon'ble Minister has failed to take into consideration the aspects as regards the building regulations and ought not to have granted relief under the Goa Regularization Act, regularizing the structure which was illegal and against which demolition order was already passed, we deem it appropriate to issue notice to the respondents.

3. Notice on behalf of respondent nos.1 and 2 is waived by Mr S. Priolkar, the learned Additional Government Advocate. Issue notice to respondent nos.3 to 9 by making it returnable on 13.08.2025. In addition to the Court notice, the notice is also permitted to be served through private mode of service. NIVEDITA P. MEHTA, J.
