Mr. Pednekar, learned Advocate for Respondent No. 5-Village Panchayat of Parcem has placed on record the Report along with the Panchanama, which states that the order of demolition dated 20.02.2021 has been complied with. The report states that the structure has been demolished. Photographs to that effect have also been placed on record.
2. Mr. Gaonkar, learned Advocate appearing for the Petitioner, submits that the demolition order dated 20.02.2021, having now been complied with and in view of the compliance of the order dated 4th May, 2026
24 WP 353 2025 30.03.2026 passed by this Court, nothing further survives in the Petition. Accordingly, on instructions from the Petitioner, he seeks leave to withdraw the Writ Petition.
3. The Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
4. Insofar as our direction to the Director of Panchayats vide order dated 30.03.2026, Ms. Bhat submits that the Director of Panchayats has issued a memorandum to the concerned Secretary, pursuant to which a reply has been received and action would be taken by the Director of Panchayats within a period of four weeks from today.
5. The Director of Panchayats to place on record the compliance report. List the matter for filing the compliance report on 10.06.2026. AMIT S. JAMSANDEKAR, J.
