2. The order dated 30th June, 2025, records the submission of the Counsel for Respondent No.3 that the building in question would not be demolished without prior intimation to this Court. In view of the said statement made by the learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent No.3, today, an affidavit is placed on record, affirmed by Shri Clen Madeira, the present Commissioner of the Corporation of the City of Panaji, dated 20th March, 2026 before the Notary Public. The said affidavit along with the work order is taken on record.

3. Stand over to 2nd April, 2026 at 3:30 p.m.

4. Mr. Karpe, learned Counsel appearing for the Corporation, to take instructions from the concerned Authority as to whether the Corporation is ready and willing to offer the existing eligible tenants the right of preemption to take on rent premises in the newly constructed building, if at all the Corporation is to offer the units in the newly constructed building on rent to the public at large.
