Heard Ms Vahida Yelgar, learned Advocate for the Petitioner, Mr R. Chodankar, learned Central Govt. Standing Counsel for the Respondent Nos.1, 2 and 8 and Mr Munj, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate for the Respondent Nos.3 to 7.
2. On 20.05.2026, this Court had made the following order:- "1. Learned Counsel for the Petitioners makes a statement, on instructions, that the Petitioners wish to withdraw the present Petition. She further submits that although she has informed the Counsel for
Respondents No.1 to 7, they are unable to appear today and hence she would request for the matter to be adjourned to any other convenient date for withdrawal of the Petition.
2. Considering the request of the Learned Counsel for the Petitioners, list the Petition before the Vacation Bench on 28.05.2026."
3. Ms. Vahida Yelgar, learned Advocate for the Petitioners, tenders an affidavit dated 16.05.2026, affirmed by Petitioner No.2, who is present in Court. The same is taken on record and marked "X" for identification.
4. Ms. Vahida Yelgar, learned Advocate for the Petitioners, on instructions from the Petitioners seek leave to unconditionally withdraw the present petition. She further submits that the Petitioners are in the process of obtaining tickets to travel to their country, Russia. She states that the Petitioners are proposing to travel on 05.06.2026. She, on instructions, states that copies of the said air tickets of the Petitioners shall be furnished to the office of Respondent No.5 on or before 03.06.2026.
5. Mr. Munj, learned Additional Government Advocate for Respondent Nos.3 to 7 and Mr. Chodankar, learned Central Government Standing Counsel for Respondent Nos.1, 2 and 8, do not oppose the request of withdrawal of this Petition.
6. In view of the submissions made by Ms Vahida Yelgar, learned Advocate for the Petitioners, leave is granted to withdraw the present petition. The statement made by Ms. Vahida Yelgar regarding furnishing copies of the air tickets to the Respondent No. 5 is accepted.
7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition No. 472 of 2025 stands dismissed as withdrawn.
