NO. 3479/2021 CORAM : REGISTRAR (JUDICIAL) DATED : 12/02/2025 The civil application is filed under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon proposed LRs of deceased R.No. 2C i.e. 2C-a and 2C-b by way of paper publication. As per bailiff's report, noticees were not residing on the given address. It is stated in the application that LRs of R.No. 2C are residing somewhere in Chandrapur District itself and is known to reside lastly in Ghugus. So, appellant prays for substituted service.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the appellant is allowed to serve aforesaid respondents by substituted service on the last known address by paper publication.

Substituted service be effected upon aforesaid proposed LRs of deceased R.No.

2C i.e. 2C-a and 2C-b by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper 'Maha Vidharbha' District Chandrapur in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
