The petitioners moved this application to permit them to amend the petition since they want to challenge the final notification dated 11.02.2025.

Though the learned AGP opposes the said application, it appears that during the pendency of the petition, subsequent events occurred, by which the respondent State issued the notification. Therefore, in our view, to resolve the controversy in the petition, it would be appropriate to permit the petitioners to amend the petition. 4.

Hence, the application is allowed as prayed for. The petitioner is permitted to carry out the amendment within a week and supply a copy of the amended petition to the other side within a week thereafter.
