The petitioners/applicants have moved this application to permit them to amend the petition on the ground that, during the pendency of the petition, respondent Nos. 2 and 3 published an advertisement for filling the vacancies. Therefore, they want to bring those facts on record.

Considering the reasons stated in the application and no objection from the other side, the application is allowed, as prayed.

The petitioners/applicants are directed to carry out the amendment within one week, and a copy of the amended petition is to be served on the learned counsel for the respondents within one week thereafter.
