The applicants/petitioners moved this application to permit them to amend the petition on the ground that their application for the grant of compassionate appointment was rejected by the order dated 23.11.2021, and, therefore, they want to challenge the said order in the petition. The learned Additional Government Pleader has not objected to the amendment.

Considering the reasons stated in the application and no objection by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the application is allowed, as prayed. The petitioners/applicants are directed to carry out the amendment within one week and supply a copy of the amended petition to the respondents within one week thereafter.
