DATE : 25TH SEPTEMBER, 2025 The present application is filed for grant of permission to amend the petition. By this amendment application, the petitioner seeks permission to add party respondent No.4-Periyar University, so as to ascertain whether the said University is recognized by the UGC. In support of contentions, the petitioner seeks permission to add paras-14, 15 and 16 with consequential prayer clause. As such, though the respondents objected, in our considered opinion, it would be necessary to allow the application for amendment. Accordingly, the application is allowed. Amendment be carried out within a period of one week. The amended copy of the petition be supplied to the respondents.
