No. 2037/2025 in Writ Petition No.6728/2022 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 18.02.2026 The civil application is filed by petitioner under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon Respondent No. 1 by way of paper publication. It is stated in the application that the notice issued to the respondent No.1 received back unserved as respondent No.1 is not traceable. It is further stated in the application that the petitioner has tried to find out address of Respondent No.1 but he could not. Thus, the petitioner want to serve Respondent No.1 by way of paper publication.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Substituted service be effected upon respondent No.1 by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
