The present Application is filed by the Respondent No. 1 - Caste Scrutiny Committee for extension of six months' time to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioners.

(2) It is contended that the proposal of the Petitioner No. 2 became complete for the first time on 04/09/2025. As the validity certificate issued to the father of the Petitioners is of the year 1986 (as per the information submitted by the Petitioners), there was no vigilance conducted at the relevant time. However, the Scrutiny Committee is required to conduct the vigilance enquiry in the present matter. The Scrutiny Committee is also required to consider the genealogy. In view ..

(3) Both the Petitioners are in service. It appears that no notice is issued to the Petitioners to show cause as to why their current services should not be terminated on the ground of non-supply of the caste validity certificates.

(4) As such, the Application is allowed. Further four months' time is extended to conclude the enquiry and decide the tribe claim of the Petitioners. However, it is made clear that the Caste Scrutiny Committee shall make all endeavours to conclude the enquiry and decide the tribe claim of the Petitioners within the extended period. (5) The Application stands disposed of.

(6) Learned AGP to communicate this order to the Respondent No. 1 - Scrutiny Committee.
