NO. 2386/2025 IN WRIT PETITION NO. 2424/2024 CORAM : REGISTRAR (JUDICIAL) DATED : 03/10/2025 The civil application is filed under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon R.No. 1 by way of paper publication. It is stated in the application that the aforesaid respondent could not be served on given address.

Further, it is stated that the R.No. 1 is keeping out of way for the purpose of avoiding service of notice. Thus, the applicants want to serve aforesaid respondent by affixing the notice on the house of R.No. 1 or by issuing notice in daily newspaper.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, substituted service be effected upon aforesaid respondent by affixing copies of notice on some conspicuous part of his last known address as per Order 5 Rule 20(1) or by publishing a notice in local daily newspaper widely circulated in Gondia District in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
