The present Application is filed by the Respondent - Caste Scrutiny Committee for extension of three months' time to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner.

(2) It is contended that after direction to the Respondent - Scrutiny Committee, the Petitioner has submitted some validity certificates. The claim of the Petitioner is pending with the Police Vigilance Cell and the report is awaited. In view thereof, some more time is required, and hence, sought extension for further period of three months. (3) For the reasons stated in the Application, the Application is allowed. However, it is made clear that the Caste Scrutiny Committee shall make all endeavours to conclude the enquiry and decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner within the extended period. Interim protection granted to the Petitioner to continue till the decision of the Scrutiny Committee. (4) The Application stands disposed of.
