By this application, the applicant is seeking direction to the respondent to release the amount of gratuity, commutation of pension, as well as leave encashment.

It is the submission of present applicant that he attained the age of superannuation on 31/07/2024 and till date, he has not received the above said payments.

In the circumstances, considering the fact that the amount of misappropriation quantified by the disciplinary authority is Rs.2,79,533/- along with accrued interest at the rate of 6.40% the petitioner is permitted to make an appropriate representation to the respondent No.1 for release of the amount as prayed in the application. 4.

The Zilla Parishad shall take appropriate decision as to whether by retaining the amount of misappropriation as per order dated 30/05/2007, the remaining amount of which petitioner is otherwise entitle, can be permitted to be withdrawn in the matter. 5.

The above exercise be completed within a period of four weeks. 6.

List this matter on 20/02/2026.
