DATED : 20 th FEBRUARY, 1.
This is an application filed by the respondent No.3-Senior Citizen for withdrawal of the amount deposited by the applicants/petitioner in accordance with the Order dated 15.10.2025 passed by this Court. 2.
The applicant/respondent No.3 is a senior citizen, in whose favour the Appellate Authority under The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, has passed an Order thereby, directing the petitioners (herein) to pay the monthly maintenance to respondent No.3.
3.
Although, the application for withdrawal of amount is opposed by the petitioners, considering the fact that the amount is deposited towards monthly maintenance to be paid to the respondent No.3 (Senior Citizen), the civil application needs to be allowed, in the interest of justice.

Learned counsel for the respondent No.3 also prays for transfer of the amount to the account of respondent No.3. Thus, considering the fact that the respondent No.3 is 86 years old and for the reasons mentioned in the civil application, it is proper to transfer the amount directly in the account of respondent No.3 after verifying the details of the account by the Registry. 5.
Accordingly, it is directed that the amount payable to the respondent No.3 be transferred to the account of respondent No.3, the details of which are mentioned in para No.4 of the civil application.
