By this Application, the Respondent No.1/Claimant is seeking permission to withdraw the statutory deposit i.e. Rs.25,000/- deposited by the Appellant/Insurance Company at the time of filing of Appeal along with interest accrued thereon. 2.

It is pointed out that the Appellant/Insurance Company has withdrawn the Appeal on 12/1/2023 and thereafter the Respondent No.1 was permitted to withdraw the amount of compensation. It is further pointed out that Rs.25,000/- deposited by the Appellant/Insurance Company remained to be withdrawn along with interest accrued thereon.

After issuing notice by this Court, the learned Counsel for Appellant appeared and gave no objection for such withdrawal.

For the reasons stated in the Application, Civil Application is allowed.
