Heard learned Counsel for applicant.

The present application is filed for condonation of a delay of 13 days in filing the First Appeal, challenging the impugned judgment dated 09.08.2025 passed by the learned Railway Claims Tribunal, Nagpur.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that there is a delay of 13 days in filing the First Appeal. The said delay is bonafide and has occurred for the reasons stated in paragraph Nos. 5, 6 and 7 of the present application. 4.
Shri Kartik Shukul, learned DSGI appearing for the respondent, strongly opposes the aforesaid application, contending that the applicant has failed to explain the delay as contemplated under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, and
4 caf 665-2025.odt thus no sufficient cause is made out for condonation of delay. However, since the applicant has explained the delay in the application, and this Court, upon perusal of the same, is satisfied that sufficient cause is made out for condonation of the delay of 13 days in filing the First Appeal, the civil application is allowed.

The delay of 13 days in filing the present First Appeal is hereby condoned.

The application is accordingly disposed of.
