By this application, the applicant is seeking the premature withdrawal of the fixed deposit amount of compensation of Rs.6,00,000/- along with interest accrued thereupon. 2.

The perusal of the application shows that the applicant at the time of filing the present application was of 75 years of age. As per the averment made in the application, due to medical emergency, she is in dire need of such amount. It is also asserted by the applicant that she being an old aged lady, she is not having any earning source and there is nobody in her family to look after and maintain her. 3.

In the circumstances, the prayer made by the applicant seems to be justified in the facts and circumstances of the matter. Accordingly, the applicant is permitted to withdraw the amount, as prayed.

The Respondent-Bank is directed to release the amount of Rs.6,00,000/- along with interest accrued thereupon to the applicant immediately.

The application stands disposed of.
