JULY 15, 2025 1) The applicant/respondent No.3, who is the legal heir of the deceased respondent No.2, has filed this application to permit him to withdraw the amount of compensation deposited by the Insurance company in this Court, as the appeal was withdrawn by the appellant Insurance Company before the Lok Adalat on 11/02/2023. As per the order of the Lok Adalat, the applicant/respondent No.3 is entitled to withdraw the entire compensation amount. It also appears from paragraph 4 of the application that respondents No. 1 and 2 died during the pendency of the proceedings.

2) Having considered the reasons disclosed in the application and order dated 11/02/2023 before the Lok Adalat, I am of the view that applicant/respondent No.3 is permitted to withdraw the amount deposited by the Insurance Company. Hence, the application is allowed as prayed.

3) The Registrar (J) is directed to transfer the amount lying in this Court along with interest accrued thereon in the

2 14-CAF 1616.2025.odt bank account of the applicant/respondent No.3, within a period of four weeks, on his furnishing his bank details to the Registry. 4) The application is disposed of accordingly.
