C.A.F. NO. 1904/2025 IN F.A. NO. 52/2023 CORAM : REGISTRAR (JUDICIAL) DATED : 10/06/2025 The civil application is filed under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon R.No. 1 by way of paper publication in alternate newspaper.

As stated in the application, R.No. 1 could not be served for want of correct address.

The appellant wants to serve the notice through paper publication to expedite the matter. Earlier, permission was sought to publish notice in Andhra Newspaper, "Visalaandhra Tirupati", but despite several calls and efforts, appellant is unable to make contact with office of this newspaper. Thus, the appellant wants to serve aforesaid respondent by way of paper publication in alternate newspaper.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, substituted service in alternate newspaper be effected upon aforesaid respondent by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper 'Times of India (English)', Vishakhapattanam Edition in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
