NO. 2586/2024 CORAM : REGISTRAR (JUDICIAL) DATED : 05/08/2025 The civil application is filed under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon R.No. 6 by way of paper publication. As stated in the application, the aforesaid respondent could not be served on given address. Further, it is stated that the appellant has taken permission from the Court to serve R.No. 6 by way of paper publication, but the same could not be served by regular mode. Upon making further inquiry with the office of Deshonnati Newspaper, Pune, it has come to the knowledge of the appellant that Deshonnati Newspaper is not circulated or published in Pune, where the R.No. 6 is stated to be residing. Thus, the appellant wants to serve aforesaid respondent by way of paper publication.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, substituted service be effected upon aforesaid respondent by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper 'Lok Manthan', Marathi Edition, Pune district in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
