By this application, the respondent No.1/original claimant seeks withdrawal of decreetal amount along with interest.

It is pointed out that the appellant had deposited an amount of Rs.13,65,051/- (Rupees Thirteen Lakhs Sixty Five Thousand and Fifty One Only) in this Court. The respondent No.1 submits that the appellant ought to have deposited the amount in accordance with new Act. 3.

The original claimant whose land was acquired and who is waiting for compensation is therefore, permitted to withdraw 75% of the amount deposited along with accrued interest, subject to furnishing usual undertaking before the Registrar (Judicial).

In view of above, the civil application is allowed and disposed of.

List the appeal for final hearing in the week commencing from 09.02.2026.
