DATE : 17.03.2026 By this application, the appellant - Insurance Company seeks condonation of delay of 312 days in filing the statutory appeal. In response to the notice on the civil application, the respondents are served.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the delay occurred since the appellant had earlier filed an application for review before the learned Tribunal and after the rejection of the review application, the appeal is filed. He therefore submits that the delay occurred on account of bonafide reasons and by relying upon Section 14 of the Limitation Act, he prays for condonation of delay.

Although the application is opposed, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the application is allowed.

The delay of 312 days in filing statutory appeal is condoned.
