On the face of record it appears that this Court has condoned the delay of 626 days caused while lodging the appeal vide order dated 14.11.2025 with a rider that the applicant shall pay costs of Rs.2,000/- to the non-applicant no.1 within a period of two weeks therefrom. However, nothing has been brought on record by the applicant to show that the condition of paying costs has been complied with till date.

Considering the nature of claim and the fact that no explanation has been offered on behalf of the applicant hence, I am of the view that the officers of the RR Jaiswal
2 29-caf-2959-24.odt applicant- insurance company shall be punished with double the costs imposed. Hence, the applicant- insurance company shall deposit costs of Rs.4,000/- in the following account during the course of the day and shall produce the copy of the receipt on record:- Account Name:

After the receipt is produced on record, the office shall register the First Appeal and place it before the Court for further consideration.

On the grounds set out in the application, respondent no. 1/claimant is permitted to withdraw 50% of the compensation amount on furnishing usual undertaking and 25% of the compensation amount on furnishing solvent surety along with accrued interest to the satisfaction of the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court.

The application is disposed of.
