No. 4778/2025 in First Appeal No.76/2025 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 06.01.2026 The civil application is filed under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon Respondent No.6 by way of paper publication. It is stated in the application that the Respondent No.6 could not be served for want of correct address. Further, it is stated in the application that the Respondent No.6 is trying to avoid service of notice issued by this Hon'ble Court. Thus, the applicant wants to serve Respondent No.6 by way of paper publication.
Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Substituted service be effected upon Respondent No.6 by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper 'Amravati Mandal', Amravati edition in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
As per office note, appellant has not filed application for correct address of Respondent Nos. 8 & 9 as notice issued to aforesaid respondents received back unserved. Hence, two weeks time is granted to the appellant to file civil application for correct address of Respondent Nos. 8 & 9.
