The Civil Application No. 1132/2025 is seeking condonation of 180 days delay in filing application seeking restoration of Writ Petition No. 972/2019 which was dismissed vide order dated 20/12/2024 for non-removal of office objection, while Misc. Civil Application (St) No. 18554/2025 is for restoration of the said Writ Petition.

The learned Counsel for Petitioner submits that inadvertently and due to oversight the Petition in question was not marked, and therefore, office objections could not be removed. We are satisfied by the said reason, however, Writ Petition No.

2/2 24.cao.1132.2025 in wp.972.2019.odt 972/2019 is restored to its file, subject to payment of costs of Rs.5000/- within two working days from today, to be paid to the Public Welfare Account. After payment of costs, Writ Petition No. 972/2019 to its file at original stage.
