NO. 1337/2025 IN MCA NO.183/2025 IN CIVIL REVISION APPLICATION NO. 141/2018 CORAM : REGISTRAR (JUDICIAL) DATED : 09/12/2025 The civil application is filed under Order V Rule 20(1) of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon respondent by way of affixing copies of notice on some conspicuous part of the house of last known address of the respondent. It is stated in the application that the aforesaid respondent could not be served on given address. Further, it is stated that the respondent is deliberately evading service or has made themselves untraceable thereby frustrating the process of this Hon'ble Court. Thus, the applicant want to serve respondent by affixing the notice on the house of respondent at some conspicuous part.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, substituted service be effected upon respondent by affixing copies of notice on some conspicuous part of his house at last known address as per Order 5 Rule 20(1), returnable within five weeks from the date of affixing.
