Issue show cause notice to Mr Chandrakant Sinha, Project Officer, to explain why action against him should not be taken for making misstatement and incorrect statements in the affidavits filed earlier which were revealed

from the report submitted by the Three Men Committee appointed by this Court.

Mr M. I. Dhatrak, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr Ashwin Deshpande, who is heading the Three Men Committee, shall file a joint note pointing out such incorrect and misstatements made by Mr Sinha in the affidavits earlier filed. The statements in the affidavit filed today is prima facie an admission of such incorrect statements made in the earlier affidavits.

Such note shall be provided to Mr A.A.Kathane learned counsel for the respondent-NHAI, by tomorrow. 5.

Mr Sinha shall submit his explanation on affidavit to such note, why action shall not be taken against him for such incorrect and misstatements made by him. 6.

Place this matter on 13.01.2026.

Mr Kathane, learned counsel undertakes to communicate this order and serve the copy of show cause notice on Mr Sinha.

Mr Kathane, learned counsel for the respondentNHAI shall also file an affidavit in this regard by next date. 9.

We appreciate the efforts taken by Three Men Committee headed by Mr Ashwin Deshpande and the pains taken by them to personally visit the complete stretch of the

road and take out the pictures and videos of the places where there are major problems.

We also appreciate the efforts taken by Ms Isha Thakare, learned Advocate, who visited Nagpur - Kondhali road personally and reported to this Court, the problems at a distance of 14 km on Nagpur-Kondhali road.
