Heard Learned Counsel for the Petitioner.

At the outset, he invited attention of this Court to Interim Application No.101 of 2026, which is an application seeking leave to carry out amendment in the Writ Petition and also seeks permission to place on record certain documents. Since we are at pre-notice stage and the Petitioner intends to bring on record relevant documents and certain subsequent events, in the interest of justice, we are inclined to allow the Application.

Hence, Interim Application No. 101 of 2026 is allowed. Leave is granted to the Applicant (Petitioner) to carry out amendment as per schedule of amendment at Exhibit "A" to the Application. The amendment be carried out within two weeks from today.

On instructions Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner is ready to sit across the table with the acquiring body and to negotiate the quantum of compensation that may be payable for utilization of part of the land belonging to the Petitioner for the purposes of the subject road.

Issue notice returnable on 9th February 2026. 6.

Learned AGP waives notice on behalf of Respondent Nos.1 and 5 to 8.

The Petitioner is additionally permitted to serve Respondent Nos.2, 3 and 4 by way of private service and to file an affidavit of service before the next date of listing.
