Interim Application has been preferred seeking stay of the impugned judgment dated 18th November, 2024. As of today, the execution application has not been filed.

Considering that by the impugned judgment, the Defendant is directed to indemnify the Plaintiff against the action taken by Excise Authority pursuant to the notice dated 5th July, 2011, which is pending for adjudication before the Apex Court, it would be appropriate to dispose of the present Interim Application by directing the Plaintiff to intimate the Defendant, in writing, in event, the Defendant intends to file an execution application for execution of the impugned judgment at-least fortnight in advance. 3.
