------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Adv. Swatantri Waghmare for the Applicant ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CORAM: SOMASEKHAR SUNDARESAN, J.
DATE: JANUARY 24, 2025 PC :
1.
These Applications have been taken out in Petitions that had been filed and disposed of under Section 11 of the Act. The request in JANUARY 24, 2025 rsk
74-75-76-IA-1054-25-F.doc these Applications is to extend the mandate of the Arbitrator in exercise of powers under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act"). It is seen from the record that the Learned Arbitrator of the Arbitral Tribunal had written to the parties way back on September 6, 2024 asking the parties to collect the Arbitral Award on September 20, 2024, when the matter was kept for pronouncement of award.
2.
However, evidently, that has not been done. These Applications have been moved only in 2025. Be that as it may, since the arbitration has actually been concluded and the Awards had been kept for pronouncement on September 28, 2024, and considering the sheer efflux of time since then, the mandate of Arbitral Tribunal is hereby extended until February 15, 2025 to enable statutory coverage for the validity of the Arbitral Award, and for any completion of formalities at the convenience of the Arbitral Tribunal.
3.
All these Applications are finally disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
4.
All actions required to be taken pursuant to this order shall be taken upon receipt of a downloaded copy as available on this Court's website.
