Learned Counsel for the parties jointly submit that in terms of Rule 2(I)(a)(ii), these proceedings would lie before a Single Bench and not before a Division Bench as indicated by the Registry. They submit that they would bring in a specific note to address this issue. This would be important because the Registry had filed a report on April 4, 2025 pursuant to my request, highlighting that these proceedings would lie before the Learned Division Bench having the same roster. The official of the Registry is requested to remain present so that the issue can be resolved.

Meanwhile, a cheque for the awarded amount (without computing interest awarded) has been brought by the Appellant. Liberty to deposit the same with the Registry today with the caveat that the interest as awarded must also be computed and must also be deposited.

With the aforesaid directions, stand over to tomorrow i.e. April 9, 2025 on the Supplementary Board.

All actions required to be taken pursuant to this order, shall be taken upon receipt of a downloaded copy as available on this Court's website.
