The matters were circulated on the second last day of the Vacation on praecipe that the Appeals are of the year 2014 and are pending admission and there is no stay which has been granted. In view of the said submission this Court placed the matters on the circulation board. Upon calling of the matters the learned counsel for the Appellants submits that the Appeals are already admitted and stay was also granted under certain conditions and that the Appeals were circulated on a misapprehension.

Considering that the Appellant's matters were circulated and listed on board having 121 matters, this Court had to refuse circulation 2 of

to the other urgent matters. The Advocates cannot be permitted to adopt such casual approach while seeking circulation especially on the second last day of the Vacation and the adjournment cannot be granted without imposing costs.

In the light of the above the Appellants are directed to pay costs of Rs.2500/- per Appeal to be paid to the Kirtikar Law library, within a period of 4 weeks from today. For reporting compliance of the deposit of costs stand over to 3rd July 2025.

In the event the costs is not paid before the next date, cost will be doubled on the next occasion.
